About i-Health Physical Therapy
i-Health Physical Therapy is a privately-owned practice specialized in Pelvic floor rehabilitation and treating patients with various orthopedic conditions. i-Health Physical Therapy will not only ‘treat’ you but also ‘teach’ you how to manage your own health. We believe that any therapy is more effective when you get the right environment and that healing human element. Combining our hands-on method to the scientific treatment approach, our patients truly feel cared for! Our facility is located in Hackensack, NJ in Bergen county in the proximity of the Courthouse and Hackensack hospital serving population of all age group from the nearby towns, counties and also New York. With our unique unison of Pelvic and Orthopedic Rehabilitation, we provide an all-inclusive care to our clients to help them achieve their goals, restore and continue with their activities.
Dr. Bhairvi Mukherjee, PT, DPT, PRPC
Dr. Mukherjee received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Sciences in Philadelphia. She has experience working with people of all age group in private practices, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home care. She obtained her Certification as Pelvic Rehabilitation Specialist (PRPC) from Herman and Wallace. She has also completed all the three level courses for Certification of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy from American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Mukherjee has accomplished a comprehensive education and practical training that is focused on patients with pelvic health dysfunction, such as incontinence, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), pelvic pain, gynecological conditions, male pelvic floor and sexual dysfunctions. She also has training and experience to manage pregnancy and post-partum related conditions. Dr. Bhairvi loves travelling with her husband and their two-year-old daughter.
Daniela is an aspiring future Physical Therapist. She has graduated from Hunter University with Bachelors in Social Sciences and is really excited about her career in Physical Therapy. Daniela is currently assisting us at front desk and also observing the therapist to improve her learning before starting Physical Therapy school. She had been part of the track team from middle to high school and now enjoys doing zumba. Her interests include drawing, enjoying the beach and spending time with her cat.
